Well, I've only reached page 21, since these days I'm working on bass lines for three songs. Still, the transitions from above and below, which I thought I already knew, turned out to be really useful. I’ll definitely keep going all the way to page 101.

Sian was great. She is so good at explaining the reasons for doing things a certain way by making sure you know why it will help you play better. She is also very patient, because I have never had any formal lessons or training about scales and triads etc. I had no idea what others were talking about but Sian was great about explaining things to me. Thanks Sian, I kook forward to working with you again. Sorry I had to drag you back to a grade school level, but it was refreshing to have someone meet you where you are.

Great book!! Just what I need. Helps with connection of chords. Spells it out completely, plus gives you various styles to work on. Highly recommended !!!

I had my EAP with Sian yesterday and got so much out of it.
I found Sian to be so positive and enthusiastic about everything and she helped me set out a practice routine, which will focus on the stuff I need and wanted to improve on.
Most importantly, I was asked exactly what I wanted to get out of the assessment and was emailed a detailed plan later the same day, which covers the next 12 weeks.
I had learnt all the basics years ago, but I was playing the same old riffs and had become lazy and forgotten most of it. After this assessment, I feel like I've got my mojo back and am looking forward to taking my bass playing to the next level.
The zoom meeting I had with Sian was very relaxed and really fun to do.
I can highly recommend the Expert Assessment Plan if you want to improve in certain areas and/or if you need an overall assessment of where you're at with your bass playing. Lynn, UK

I always read a book from start, to finish. I get more out of it that way. After you do this, you can use it for reference. Ive been playing for 42 years, and i find that i need to read a book like rhis every few years, so i dont fall into to many bad habits. Thank you for the guide James! You rock brother!

Gives a pretty extensive list of riffs and turnarounds to use for blues progressions. Well worth working through.

I love upbeat music and as such I decided to try out this course. I like the way James explained things that made learning easy and enjoyable. Each lesson is progressive which helps to build confidence and skills. The One, Two and Three Note transition had increased my knowledge in locking-in with the drum. As a beginner I am still in the process of learning, but every small improvement I made and new things I learned from this course let me know that it is leading me to become a bassist

Sian is a joy, I learned so much in the time we spent that I’m signing up for 12 more lessons with her. She quickly identified the problems I was having and using the techniques she suggested has made such a difference. Looking forward to doing more! Plus she’s so fun and friendly, great experience!

A quiet fun harmonious conversation that resulted in me getting so many good tools for my toolbox and which already has, and will push my development several steps forward. Not only that, I had my big concern about my lack of knowledge of music theory calmed down :)

On the first sight, it looks very clear. The way the products are showed in groups together is very easy to look for a specific item. This is made by professionals, i did not expected it otherwise, and like the courses it is top of the bill. Keep on the good work. I hope to see soon some more of the merchandise.
